The NCCIC has published an advisory on an unrestricted upload of file with dangerous type vulnerability in Siemens SIMATIC WinCC and PCS7. Numerous products and versions of these products are affected. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could cause a denial-of-service condition on the affected service or device. Siemens has released updates for some of the affected products and advises it is preparing updates for the others. The NCCIC also advises of a series of measures for mitigating the vulnerability.
