The ICS-CERT issued an advisory regarding a vulnerability in a third-party application that is used by some GE Intelligent Platforms Proficy products. Following this disclosure by an independent security researcher, GE discovered an additional vulnerability in the same component. GE has provided a tool, which is linked to in this advisory, that addresses the vulnerabilities.
