The theme for week three of Infrastructure Security Month (ISM) is “Build Resilience into Critical Infrastructure.” This theme serves as a reminder that infrastructure operators should consider threats across the all-hazards threat environment when investing in their facility’s resilience. To maintain U.S. national security, economic prosperity, and public health, it’s crucial for utilities to design and build resilient systems that can continue operations or quickly recover from extreme weather events, terrorist attacks, and other disruptions.
