I&C Secure Joins WaterISAC’s List of Champions
WaterISAC Champions enhance Water and Wastewater Sector security
WASHINGTON, D.C., July 29 — WaterISAC welcomes its newest Champion, I&C Secure. I&C Secure is dedicated to helping their clients build and maintain a robust and successful cybersecurity program for their Industrial Control Systems/Operations Technology (ICS/OT) environments. They offer ICS/OT cybersecurity consulting and engineering services to critical infrastructure organizations, such as public water and wastewater utilities.
As WaterISAC continues to grow its Champion program, I&C Secure was the appropriate next Champion. I&C Secure has supported WaterISAC and played a critical role in the water sector with designing and implementing ICS/OT cybersecurity programs that are sized to mitigate and minimize ICS/OT impacts according to client specific risk. They are helping the ISAC and the sector increase both their preparedness and resilience.
“The water/wastewater sector at large needs to continue to improve the cyber resilience of their ICS/OT environments. I&C Secure is dedicated to helping our sector achieve cyber resilience and readiness by helping both our water suppliers directly as well as the firms that design and build our water infrastructure. We are looking forward to this new chapter as a WaterISAC Champion and to continue supporting the sector.”
Jennifer Lyn Walker, WaterISAC Director of Infrastructure Cyber Defense, was critical in strengthening the partnership between WaterISAC and I&C Secure. In her words, “I&C Secure has a profound understanding of water and wastewater control systems and excellence in delivering cyber secure systems. I&C Secure is virtually unmatched in expertise and willingness to share knowledge. WaterISAC is excited for the expert guidance they will bring to the Champions program and members!”
I&C’s unwavering commitment to the safety and security of industrial critical infrastructure and willingness to share their insights, approach, and methodologies to benefit the community makes them a trusted leader in the field of control systems engineering and ICS/OT cybersecurity. They will support the sector and WaterISAC throughout the year with best practices and informational resources for utilities across the nation.
