The U.S. EPA recently released an updated version of the National Stormwater Calculator and Climate Assessment Tool package that includes future climate vulnerability scenarios. The calculator, a part of President Obama’s Climate Change Action Plan, is a desktop application that estimates the annual amount of stormwater runoff from a specific location. U.S. EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy noted the “tool will help us better prepare for climate impacts by helping build safer, sustainable, and more resilient water infrastructure.” U.S. EPA
