The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has published its 2020 Year in Review report, discussing its activities in the past year in support of the physical security and cybersecurity of the nation, including its critical infrastructure. The report includes a timeline of events, which include a number of emergency directives CISA released, including one in December to address the SolarWinds exploitation campaign. It also discusses the many activities it undertook in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as the development of its Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce (now in version 4.0). The report includes sections dedicated to CISA components, including its Cybersecurity Division, Infrastructure Security Division, and the National Risk Management Center. In addition to highlighting some of the products these components have developed, the report notes how each has worked with critical infrastructure partners to help secure their systems and processes.
