The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Office of Infrastructure Protection (IP) has published the latest version of its Partnership Bulletin, which provides a snapshot of upcoming training and exercise opportunities, critical infrastructure events, and key announcements. Some of the upcoming events include:
- The DHSChemSecurityTalks that seek to bring together critical infrastructure owners and operators, key government officials, first responders, and law enforcement to engage in face-to-face discussions and share the latest in security best practices, with a meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 2;
- Risk Management Process and Facility Security Committee Training, with convenings in the National Capital Region on August 7 and October 2; Honolulu, Hawaii on August 14; Lincoln, Nebraska on August 21; Denver, Colorado on September 25; Laguna Niguel, California on September 27; San Francisco, California on October 16; Santa Ana, California on October 18; Seattle, Washington on December 4; and Portland, Oregon on December 6;
- A Corporate Security Symposium hosted by the DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) and the FBI in Nashville, Tennessee on August 23;
- The Chemical Sector Monthly Unclassified Threat Call, which is intended to provide unclassified threat information to Chemical Sector partners and those in associated sectors and is held on the fourth Thursday of each month (August 23 and September 27 for the next two months);
- Active Shooter Preparedness Workshops, with convenings in Nashua, New Hampshire on August 14; McCalla, Alabama on August 14; Bloomington, Minnesota on August 20; Augusta, Maine on August 22; Camden, Arkansas on August 28; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on August 30; Wichita, Kansas on September 5; Detroit, Michigan on September 11; University Place, Washington on September 27; Denver, Colorado on October 4; Westminster, Colorado on October 4; and Phoenix, Arizona on November 7;
- DHS Office of Bombing Prevention Training Courses, with both computer-based and in-person training opportunities on a variety of topics from now until late August; and
