Water Sector Cyber Resilience Briefing - Strengthening Cyber Defenses with Free Resources for Water Utilities & Updates to the Cyber Readiness Institute’s Free Resiliency for Water Utilities Program

Wednesday, March 26, 2025; 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. ET

WaterISAC is pleased to have The Cyber Readiness Institute join us for another Cyber Resilience Briefing to discuss meaningful updates to Phase 2 of their free Resiliency for Water Utilities Program. Join us on March 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM ET for our monthly Cyber Resilience Briefing where speakers from the Cyber Readiness Institute will discuss the unique opportunity to strengthen cyber defenses with the Resiliency for Water Utilities Program designed specifically for water and wastewater utilities nationwide.

Phase 1 of the Cyber Readiness Institute’s Resiliency for Water Utilities Program was so successful that it’s back for Phase 2. So, if you missed Phase 1, there’s another opportunity to hear about this free, non-technical program and sign up to improve cyber resilience at your utility with coach-supported training and minimal time investment.

This initiative builds on the success of the pilot's first phase in which 64 rural water and wastewater utilities participated, demonstrating immediate improvements in cyber readiness. Participants found the program accessible, even for those with limited technical expertise, describing it as a “great foundation” and a “manageable, action-oriented” tool for enhancing resilience. This is a unique opportunity to strengthen your organization’s cyber defenses with expert guidance and valuable resources that will only take a time commitment of 1 hour a week for 6 weeks—at no cost.

About the Cyber Readiness Institute: The Cyber Readiness Institute (CRI) is an initiative that convenes business leaders from across sectors and geographic regions to share resources and knowledge that inform the development of free cybersecurity tools for small and medium-sized businesses.
